Steve Fineran has been a CPA since 1987. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Steve holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Chico. Prior to joining Bregante + Company LLP, he spent 12 years at local public accounting firms in San Ramon and San Francisco. In 1996, Steve joined Bregante + Company LLP as a tax manager, and in 2001 he became a partner.

Steve works primarily as a technical advisor and business consultant with closely held businesses and individuals. He specializes in entity formation and operation, transaction analysis, planning and compliance.
